Pipe saddles are very common among pipe supports especially for pipes supported over the beam structure. They consist of beam and plate pieces that are welded to two-bolt clamps that hold the pipe. Using different dimensions, they can also be used to adjust the height of the pipe in relation to the supporting surface.

They can be designed with the sole purpose of providing support or additionally to block the movement of the pipe to one axis (they are called guides in that case) or to two axes (anchors) of the horizontal plane.
